Privacy, the way it actually works
007AJ Analytics and Traffic Expert is a cookieless, privacy-focused analytics plugin. All statistics stay in your own WordPress database and nothing is sent to an outside service while counting. Visitor IP addresses are not stored by default (an optional shortened address can be kept), and visitors are counted with a one-way identifier that changes every day. The plugin respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control, includes WordPress personal data export and erase, suggests privacy policy text, and can wait for consent through the WP Consent API (works with Complianz, CookieYes, Cookiebot and other compatible consent plugins).
Although no cookies are used, the plugin processes each visitor’s IP address and browser information to create the daily visitor identifier and, when enabled, to look up an approximate location. Whether consent or a cookie/privacy banner is required depends on your site’s jurisdiction, configuration and overall processing. Please check with your own legal adviser.

Yes. Counting is designed to work with common page caches and CDNs.
Can I track campaigns and goals?
Yes. UTM campaigns, outbound clicks, downloads and custom events all have dedicated reports.
Will it run on a multisite network?
No. It is for single-site installs only.
Can I export my reports?
Yes. Any report can be exported as CSV, TSV, XML or JSON, and there is a read-only REST API.
