Sellers on WPBay are part of a growing marketplace and developer community. To maintain a professional, respectful, and productive environment for all participants, WPBay requires that sellers adhere to the following community guidelines when interacting with customers, other sellers, and WPBay staff.

Professional Conduct

Sellers must engage in all communications with professionalism and courtesy. This applies to support interactions, public forum discussions, private messages, and any contributions to WPBay-hosted channels. Disrespectful, aggressive, or harassing behavior toward users or staff will not be tolerated.

Product Integrity

All products submitted to WPBay must be your own original work or properly licensed for distribution. Misrepresentation, plagiarism, or the inclusion of unauthorized third-party content is strictly prohibited. Sellers are expected to maintain their products in good working condition and respond promptly to bug reports or technical issues.

Accurate Representation

Product listings must be accurate and transparent. Descriptions, feature lists, and plan differences should reflect the actual behavior and capabilities of the product. Sellers may not use misleading marketing, inflated claims, or deceptive comparisons with competing products.

Honest Reviews and Feedback

Sellers may not post fake reviews or solicit biased reviews from users in exchange for compensation. Review manipulation, including upvoting your own products or downvoting competitors, is strictly forbidden. WPBay reserves the right to moderate or remove suspicious reviews.

Respect for Platform Rules

All sellers must follow the WPBay Terms of Service, Seller Policy, and any applicable technical guidelines. Attempting to bypass platform systems (e.g., license enforcement, payment processing, or support tracking) may result in account restrictions or removal.

Constructive Participation

Sellers are encouraged to contribute to developer discussions, suggest improvements, and provide feedback on the platform. Disagreements are welcome when presented constructively. Repeatedly promoting unrelated products, using the community space for self-promotion, or disrupting discussions violates community expectations.

Support Responsibilities

If your product includes support, you are expected to respond within a reasonable timeframe and provide assistance in good faith. Sellers who fail to deliver promised support or who repeatedly ignore support requests may be suspended from listing additional products.

Reporting and Accountability

If you witness a violation of these guidelines or encounter behavior that negatively affects the community, you are encouraged to report it to WPBay staff. All reports are reviewed confidentially and taken seriously.
