Overview of the Plugin?
Advanced WooCommerce Sales Report extension provides you a comprehensive system to manage sales reports per year, month, date, and custom dates. From a detailed dashboard, you can simply filter out specific product types, user roles, customers, payment methods, shipping methods, and order statuses to check total sales, total profit, cost of goods, total tax, purchased quantity, and more.
Admins can also enable email notifications for receiving detailed CSV reports and stats based on regular intervals. Moreover, the extension provides you the flexibility to create rules for specific categories and monitor profit percentage only for those items. Installation Guide
Download the zip file for Advanced WooCommerce Reporting plugin from your WooCommerce account. Now, Go to WordPress Admin Panel and select Plugins.
Click on Add New > Upload Plugin. Upload the file here and click Install Now, and then Activate.
Setup and Configuration
Once you have activated the extension, go to WooCommerce > Sales Report Pro. Here you get seven different settings:
- Dashboard: Here you can view complete country sales report in form of different graphs
- Summary: This section provides you complete details for sales, tax, profit, top 05 purchased products/categories, etc.
- General Settings: Here, you can set number of products/orders to be shown in product//order sale tab and choose to remove certain insights from the table.
- Email Settings: From this section, you can enable email notifications for sales reports
- Product Sales: Here you can view complete product sales report
- Order Sales: View complete order sales report
- Cost of Goods: From this setting, you can craete rules to identify profit percentage for specific products/categories
Access Dashboard to View Country Sales Report
Go to WordPress Admin Panel> WooCommerce > Sales Report Pro. Now click on Dashboard, and here you can view country sales report per year.
- From the top menu, click on following to view country sales report for:
- Last month
- This month
- Last 07 days
- Custom date: choose custom start and end date
- From the same menu, you can graph type as:
- Country chart
- Column chart
- Pie chart
- Now add filters to sort sales report according to specific:
- Product types: Search and select a product from the dropdown.
- Export Type: Here you can choose products that are:
- Exported and not exported
- Already exported
- Not exported
- Select user roles: From the dropdown, select user roles such as:
- Administrator
- Author
- Editor
- Contributor
- Subscriber
- Customer
- Shop manager
- Select customer: Search specific customer, like admin, etc
- Select order status: choose order status as:
- Pending payment
- Processing
- On hold
- Completed
- Cancelled
- Refunded
- Failed
- Draft
- Select payment methods
- Select countries
- Enter city
- Enter Postcode
Manage Total Sales Summary
Go to WP Admin Panel> WooCommerce > Sales Report Pro and click on Summary. Here you can view:
- Total sales
- Total refund
- Total tax
- Total shipping tax
- Total shipping total
- Total coupon
- Total register

- Total received order
- Total cost of goods
- Total profit
Monthly sales summary
Scroll down to manage monthly sales summary from a separate table and view:
- Month and year
- Total sales
- Total profit
- Total cost of goods
- Total refund

- Total order received
Top 05 Selling Products and Categories
Now move further down and you can see a table showing you top five selling products and categories. Track insights by viewing:
- Product/category name
- Sold quantity
- Total cost of goods
- Total profit
- Total amount
Top 05 Selling Countries, States, and Customers
By remaining on the same page, you can view a separate table for top five countries, states, and customers preferring your products. Track insights by viewing
- Country/state/customer name
- Sold quantity
- Total coupon discount
- Total profit
- Total amount
Top 05 Coupons, Payment, and Shipping Methods
Now scroll and manage top five selected coupons, payment, and shipping methods of your store. From the table, you can view:
- Coupon code/ payment & shipping title
- Use count
- Total amount
Recent 10 Orders
View 10 recent orders from the table and manage details like:
- Order ID
- Customer Name
- Customer email
- Date
- Order Status
- Item
- Payment & Shipping Method
- Order Currency
- Total Discount
- Shipping Total
Configure General Settings
Go to WordPress Admin Panel > WooCommerce > Sales Report Pro. Now, from the top menu, select General Settings. Here you can configure following options:
- Set products per page in Product Sales Table: Here, you can specify the number of products to display per page in Product Sales tab
- Set orders per page in Product Sales Table: Here, you can specify the number of products to display per page in Order Sales Tab.
Column Settings
- Remove product table columns: From the dropdown, you can select following options to be removed from product table column of WoooCommerce ( located in WP Admin Panel > Products > All products ):
- Profit
- Cost of goods
- Total profit
- Remove product table columns in sales report: From the dropdown, you can select following options to be removed from product table column in sales report ( located in WP Admin Panel > WooCommerce > Sales Report Pro > Product Sales):
- Product
- Purchase quantity
- Price
- Cost of goods
- Total cost of goods
- Profit
- Total tax
- Subtotal
- Total
- Remove user table columns: From the dropdown, you can select following options to be removed from user table ( located in WP Admin Panel > Users > All Users):

Enable Email Settings for CSV Sales Reports
Go to WordPress Admin Panel> Woocommerce and click on Sales Report Pro. From the main menu, select Email Settings and configure following:
- Enable email CSV sales by products: Enable the option to send CSV reports of product sales via email. If you keep it disable, then you won’t be email to receive or send any product sales report.
- Recipients: Add recipient email addresses to which you want to send CSV reports. Use commas to separate multiple addresses.
- Email subject: Write email subject for sales report
- Additional content: Add any extra content in the email.
- Enable email CSV sales by order: Enable the checkbox to send CSV reports of order sales via email: disable the option if you dont want to receive or send order sales reports.
- Recipient: Add multiple email addresses to send order sales report
- Email subject: write custom email subject
- Additional content: Add extra content
- Enable auto send stats to email: Enable the option to send statistical reports via email at regular intervals. If the option is kept disabled, then you won’t be able to receive or send any statistical sales report.
- Select time duration: Send emails automaticaly after specifc:
- Hours
- Days
- Week
- Time duration number: Enter the number corresponding to selected time duration for report frequency.
- Select countries: Add countries for which you want to receive statistical sales report.
- Order status: choose specific order status for which you want to receive sales report.
View Complete Product Sales and Profit Report
Go to WordPress Admon Panel and select WooCommerce > Sales Report Pro. Now, from the main menu, select Product Sales. Here, you get three options to view sales reports for all products, specific products, and specific categories. Now view and manage following details:
- From the main menu, you can view product sales report from:
- Current year
- Last month
- This month
- Last 07 Days
- Custom Dates
- Export CSV: Click on the option if you want to export CSV sales report.
- Send CSV: Click this option if you want to send CSV report to specific email address along with custom subject and message.
- Use filters to sort product sales according to:
- Product Types: Search and select specific products to view their sales report.
- User Roles: From the dropdown, select specific user roles
- Customers: Select customers from the dropdown
- Order Statuses: From the dropdown, you can select specific order statuses to view product sales only for the items with similar statuses.
- Countries: Select countries to view sales report only for products sold in those regions.
- Now, from the product sales table, you can view details like:
- Product name
- Purchased quantity
- Price
- Cost of goods
- Total cost of goods
- Revenue
- Profit
- Total tax
- Subtotal
- Total
- Action: Under this option, you can choose to edit any specific product details or view complete insights.
- Now scroll down to view:
- Subtotal for complete products sold
- Total tax for complete sales
- Total cost of goods
- Total profit earned per year, month, etc
- Total
Product-Level Settings
You can also view product sales reports from product-level settings. Go to WP Admin Panel > Products > All Products. From the table, you can view new options such as:
- Cost of goods
- Revenue
View Complete Order Sales Report
Go to WP Admin Panel > WooCommerce > Sales Report Pro and from the main menu select Order Sales. Here you can view complete order sales report for current year, or from the top section, you can manage report for:
- Last month
- This month
- Last 07 days
- Custom date
- Export CSV: Choose this option if you want to export order CSV sales report.
- Change Order Status: From the dropdown, you can select following order statuses to view order report accordingly:
- Pending payment
- Processing
- On hold
- Completed
- Cancelled
- Refunded
- Failed
- Draft
- Send CSV: click this option if you want to send this CSV report to specific email address.
- Note: Only the visible order sales table will be sent to the email.
- Now, from the side menu, apply filters to sort order sales report according to:
- Export type: choose export type as:
- All exported and not exported
- Already exported
- Not exported
- Selected roles
- Selected countries
- Order statuses
- Payment methods
- Shipping methods
- Selected countries
- Now, from the order sales table, you can collect essential details like:
- Order ID
- Order date
- Billing name
- Billing country
- Billing state

- Action: Under this section, you can select any specific order to view its complete details or make edits directly.

Order-level Settings
You can also view order sales reports from order-level settings. Go to WP Admin Panel > WooCommerce > Orders. From the table, you can view new options such as:
- Profit / Revenue
- Total Spend
Create Unlimited Rules to Calculate Exact Cost of Goods
Go to WordPress Admin Panel> WooCommerce > Sales Report Pro. Now, from the main menu, select Cost of Goods. From this tab, you can create unlimited rules to calculate total profit for products and categories in bulk. From the log, you can view created rules and their details. To create a new rule, click on Add New Rule and configure following settings:
- Add rule title: Add any unique title.
- Select products: Select products for which you want to calculate the total profit earned per month, year etc.
- Select category: Select categories for which you want to calculate the total profit earned per month, year etc
- Add amount type: choose amount type as:
- Fixed: Choose this option if you want total profit amount in fixed cost.
- Percentage: Choose this option if you want total profit amount in form of percentage
- Add amount: Add profit margin that you gain from the selected items, and once the rule is published, you can view total profit or cost of goods from the Product Sales Tab.
