| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Type | Delivery or Collection. Customers only see the type that matches their shipping method. |
| Days | The days of the week the slot runs. |
| Start / End | The window, in your store's time zone. The end must be after the start. |
| Orders per slot | How many orders the slot can take on each day. 0 means no limit. |
| Fee | An optional extra charge, added to the cart as "Delivery time fee" or "Collection time fee". 0 means free. |
| Shipping zones (delivery) | Leave empty to offer the slot to every zone. Pick one or more zones to offer it only to addresses in those zones. Hold Ctrl or Cmd to pick more than one. Collection slots ignore zones. |
| Label | Optional, shown under the time, e.g. "Morning" or "Evening". |
Quick Add
Open Quick add: create a run of slots, choose the type, the first start and last end time, how long each slot lasts, the limit, fee and days, then click Add these slots. The new rows are added to the table; click Save time slots to keep them.
Editing and Removing Slots
Orders store their own date and time, so editing or removing a slot never changes orders already placed. A changed limit applies to new orders straight away.
Examples
- Grocery delivery: 2 hour slots from 8am to 8pm, 6 orders each, every day.
- Evening premium: a 6pm-9pm delivery slot with a fee of 3.50, only for your local zone.
