How the picker knows what to ask for
Shipping Methods
Every shipping method in every zone is listed under Settings > Shipping methods, plus Local pickup from the Checkout block. Choose what each one asks for:
- Delivery time - the default for every method except Local pickup.
- Collection time - the default for Local pickup (both the classic Local pickup method and the Checkout block's pickup locations).
- No time - for methods like national courier where no time is chosen.
When the customer changes shipping method, the picker changes with it. A time chosen for delivery is not carried over to collection.
Zones
Delivery slots can be limited to WooCommerce shipping zones. The customer's address is matched to a zone the same way WooCommerce matches shipping rates, so a slot limited to your "Local" zone only appears for addresses in that zone.
Collection slots are the same for every customer.
One Shipping Package
If your store splits carts into several shipping packages, the time is chosen using the first package.
