Setup Checklist

  1. Check Your Shipping Zones

Delivery slots use your normal WooCommerce shipping zones and methods. Make sure you have a delivery method (such as Flat rate) and, if you offer it, Local pickup.

  2. Set Your Time Slots

Go to Delivery Slots > Time slots. Edit the starter slots or use Quick add to create a run, for example 9am to 5pm in 1 hour slots on weekdays. Set Orders per slot to how many orders you can handle in each slot.

  3. Choose What Each Method Asks For

In Delivery Slots > Settings > Shipping methods, check each method is set to Delivery time, Collection time or No time. Local pickup is set to Collection time by default.

  4. Set Your Rules

Still in Settings, set the minimum notice, an optional same-day cut-off, how many days ahead customers can choose and any closed dates.

  5. Preparation Days (Optional)

For products that need making, such as cakes, open the product, go to the Shipping tab and set Preparation days.

  6. Test It

Add a product to your cart, go to checkout, pick a shipping method and choose a time. Place a test order and look at Delivery Slots > Schedule.
