Streaming the Draw
Pop-out window, full screen and OBS - without your address bar on show
Keeping the Address Bar Off Screen
Your viewers shouldn't see your browser's address bar, tabs or bookmarks. Yeti Live Draw gives you two ways to hide them:
| Option | What viewers see |
|---|---|
| Pop-out window | "Open Draw Screen" opens the draw in its own small window with no tabs or bookmarks. Browsers always keep a thin, read-only address strip on pop-out windows for security, so use full screen as well if you're showing the window itself. |
| Full screen | Only the draw. Click the Full screen (F) button in the top corner of the draw screen, or press F. All browser controls and the address bar disappear. Press Esc or F to exit. |
In full screen, the mouse cursor and the full-screen button hide themselves after 2.5 seconds without movement, so nothing distracts from the draw. Move the mouse to bring them back.
Keyboard Shortcuts
F - toggle full screen (not while typing in a live seed box). Esc - leave full screen.
Using OBS (or Streamlabs)
Open the Draw Screen
Click Open Draw Screen so it opens in its pop-out window.
Add a Window Capture
In OBS, add a Window Capture source and pick the draw screen window. Crop off the top address strip with Alt + drag on the source's top edge, or use full screen on a second monitor and capture that display.
Show the Proof
The commitment, the entries fingerprint and the drand round are shown in small text on the draw screen, and the revealed seeds after the draw, so viewers watching the recording can check them later.
Sharing on Zoom, Teams or Facebook Live
Share the draw screen window rather than your whole screen, then switch it to full screen. Viewers will only see the draw.
Display Tips
- The draw screen scales to any size - 1280 x 720 and 1920 x 1080 both look sharp
- The commitment, and after the draw the revealed seeds, are shown in small text at the bottom, so viewers watching the recording can check them later
- Do a practice run first: prepare a draw on a test competition, draw it, then use it to rehearse your stream
