Enter a descriptive name in Slider title. The name is required before save or publish. Preview works without a typed name; the plugin supplies a default. Visual editor changes are held as an editor draft; they are not saved automatically. Press Save slides to keep the current title, slides, layers, source, and slider options. Press Publish slider to save and publish.
The Visual Editor sidebar includes 60 editable photo-based slide presets and a live preview. Select a slide, add a layer, and drag it on the canvas. Layer types include text, image, button, video attachment, shape, safe HTML, icon, social links, countdown, progress bar, arrow, and badge. Layer position, dimensions, text styles, entrance and exit animation, start time, duration, and delay can be edited.
Use the timeline strip to inspect layer timing. Copy and paste individual layers or all layers. Layer JSON import accepts supported layer types and assigns new identifiers. The live canvas is a design preview; final styling can vary by theme.
Effect between slides controls the change from one slide to the next across the whole slider. Choices include Theme default, Slide, Crossfade, Zoom, 3D flip, Wipe reveal, Vertical rise, Diagonal reveal, Soft blur, 3D cube, Rotate, Elastic zoom, and Cross zoom. The live preview uses the selected effect while navigating between slides.
Pagination can be None, Dots, Numbers, or Boxes. Dots, Numbers, and Boxes all save with the slider. Boxes display image thumbnails when available. Arrow look and pagination look are configured separately from the transition.
The Visual Editor canvas shows the current editor draft. Select Preview desktop / tablet / mobile to save and inspect the complete slider in a new tab. The responsive preview submits the current changes, waits for WordPress to confirm the save, and then shows the slider at desktop, tablet, and mobile widths. Preview works without typing a title. If WordPress reports a save error, the preview will not open. Use its close control to return to the editor or the saved slider list.
Choose manual slides, published posts, pages, or WooCommerce products when WooCommerce is active. Dynamic results are queried locally at render time and limited to 60 items. Instagram and Flickr sources are not included.
Existing heading, text, button, and image fields remain supported. Legacy slide rows are saved from the metabox. Layer edits are saved from the Visual Editor. Save after changing either set of controls.
